We use GA only to see usage analytics and don’t use this for any tracking. We use IP anonymisation options and have most features disabled. Data retention options are set to the shortest durations possible.

By default _ga cookie expires after 2 years from the date it was last refreshed. Every time a new hit is sent to google analytics, the cookie is refreshed.
